2009 has come to an end, and 2010 just begins!  Ok, I promise I won't try to make any more rhymes.  Well with 2010 starting off fresh, I hope all the gamers out there will keep to their New Years Resolution.  My new years resolution is to be a better admin.  Hopefully I keep to it.

Remember Valve is still having a huge sale on games that will end on January 3rd.  Remember that the daily deals will continue; so do not buy anything until the last day or else you may regret the purchase when the game is heavily discounted on the daily deal (news on this coming soon).

The Left 4 Dead 2 Authorizing Tools have been released.  This is great news for mappers and Left 4 Dead 2 gamers.  Remember the Authorizing Tools allow for creation of user made maps for Left 4 Dead 2.  The Left 4 Dead 2 Add-On Support (also released today) allows custom content from Left 4 Dead (1) to be played on L4D2.

It has been some time since the admins have played rigorously on The Rage Cage.  However, do not fear, we are still here.  We have not raged from Left 4 Dead 2, we have just been playing a lot of different games lately.  You may see us on Titan Quest and Killing Floor.  Both of these games are amazing and completely different from each other.

In particular Killing Floor is a great game at a low price, if you like killing zombies (who doesn't?) then you may want to pick this game up or ask someone nicely for a guest pass.  Adding a Killing Floor game server has crossed our minds, and we are currently discussing such an addition to The Rage Cage.

We, the admins, will constantly be watching over The Rage Cage for those that require a swing from the ban hammer.  Remember, We are a safe haven. Always.

"The Passing" Brings L4D1 Survivors Down South.

Today Valve announced the first game add-on for its co-operative zombie thriller, Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2), is in development and targeted for release in early 2010.

Dubbed "The Passing," the first game add-on for L4D2 brings the original Left 4 Dead (L4D1) Survivors down south for a meeting with the L4D2 cast, while delivering new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay for the PC and Xbox 360.

Targeted for release in early spring, "The Passing" takes place just after the Dead Center campaign of L4D2. Set in a small town in rural Georgia, players assume the role of the L4D2 Survivors as they meet with the L4D1 characters.
