Well they arrived earlier this week, I just been so busy playing diablo 2 to make a post about it. I was a little disappointed that the battle chest did not come with diablo 1. The “new” version of the diablo battle chest only comes with the diablo 2 materials. However, diablo 2 is such a fun game I am not too angry. I haven’t even gotten a chance to play Quake Wars yet.

Currently I am typing this post up using the free word press app for android, which is amazing by way. On the note of apps, I have been using both Google goggles and Google shopper and they both work wonderfully. Goggles allows you to take pictures of many things and does a search based on that. Shopper allows you to search for products just by allowing the camera to see said product, not need to take the actual picture. Sure there are times when it does not accurately find what you want, but it will most of the time.

Thats right! I got my Droid Incredible Tuesday 6/8/10 at 2:00pm.  This phone is simply incredible.  The battery life leaves something to be desired.  It must take a lot of energy to power this beast, so I am happy.  The screen is very nice (except out in the sun).  What really makes this phone great is the software that runs on top of the powerful hardware.  Android is so amazing, and the HTC Sense interface just adds great eye candy to the software.  The camera is decent, but nothing that will replace a nice digital camera.

I am overly happy about this phone and it is simply incredible.  As time goes by I will probably find things I dislike about it and I will of course speak my mind about those things.

I’m just happy to have a new phone.  I will have to put up pictures (using the Incredible) of my old phone.

UPDATE 1: It seems as though the HTC Incredible is in short supply and are quickly sold out when shipments arrive.  So it will be some time until I can actually get my Droid Incredible in my hands.  Seems like it will be some time past June 11th.

Setting up the speakers like I wanted was a chore in its own.  I had to use my own 18-gauge speaker wire to place my rear right speaker where I wanted, but the included wires for the other speakers had plenty of length.  The images of these speakers do it no justice, each component is HUGE.  I wasn’t expecting the control box to be larger than one of the satellite speakers, but i’ll live with it.  I am very impressed with the sound quality of the speakers.  However, I am disappointed in some aspects of the Z-5500 or at least what I experience with them.  The control knob on the control box was separate from the control box when I unpacked everything.  This could of occurred during the shipping process.  This was easily fixed by pushing the knob back on and so far all so good with that.  My second complaint is that the screw holding the base of the center speaker to the speaker itself was covered in a thick clear plastic.  This made it extremely hard to remove the screw to flip the base for wall mounting, which the instructions said would be easy…  Well the base got flipped but the screw head was stripped and I fear that if I ever want to place it on a flat surface (desk) then I am shit out of luck.  My third complaint is that there is no optical out/in on the control box and that it did not include an optical wire.

UPDATE 1: I have emailed Logitech support about the issues with my center speaker (read above).

NOTE: Valve is giving Portal away for free until May 24th for both Mac and PC users.

Music so far sounds amazing on my X-540 and the Tritton AX Pro headset.  Much better than before when I was only using the integrated RealTek solution.  I need to test the sound card out on my current sound setup on movies and games to see if I can any differences in those areas.  The real test comes when I get the Z-5500 speakers.
